Maintaining a culture of creativity

Working in a fast-paced agency can be very demanding, especially when most of the internal coordination has to happen across time zones. As an Art director, my responsibility to the team is to ensure they maintain a healthy balance of rest and work and cultivate an environment that affords creativity and collaboration. Which meant frequent team outings in addition to comp days after a hard push at the end of a campaign.

Leading Luma condominiums

The Luma condominiums marketing campaign was one of the largest scoped projects I led at Studio216. Stakeholders included Redfin, Weber Thompson, and Red Propeller. The Luma app is a mobile iOS application built to assist real estate agents with the marketing and sales of Luma Condominiums. The marketing strategy of the Luma Condominiums is composed of two parts, the first is a mobile application for iOS, and the second is a desktop VR experience.

Leading Kirkland Urban

Kirkland Urban is the biggest development project in Kirkland’s history. I was responsible for leading the marketing campaign & assets at Studio216. Stakeholders included CollinsWoerman, Weber Thompson, CPL, Real Retail, Colliers, Talon Private Capital, and Hornell Anderson.

The first phase of Kirkland Urban is comprised of more than 390,000 square feet in two Class A office towers, 140,000 square feet of retail, and more than 1,700 parking spaces. It is the largest development project in Kirkland’s history. Working alongside CollinsWoerman Architects and Real Retail, I led the art direction of renderings and oversaw asset creation as well as environmental lighting and textures. These architectural renderings would be used to inform the material palettes of the Unity assets. I designed the UI and navigation of the desktop application as well as the 3D assets within the VR experience.

Designing for Loma Linda University Medical Center

I partnered with NBBJ Architects to produce marketing collateral for Loma Linda University Medical Center. Nailing the color shift of the dichroic fins on the mullions was a bit tricky, but our team of talented artists and animators handled it perfectly.

Leading Timberwolves stadium animation

I led the art direction for an animated fly-through of the new redesign of the Minnesota Timberwolves stadium, Target Center.
